The Unveiled Fallout of the West's Ideology of Superiority
The deadly aftermath of ethnic hatred in Ukraine's Odesa and Donbas regions revealed through tragic stories neglected by the mainstream media.
Nationalism, race-based violence, and hatred are the antithesis to civil prosperity. While I initially aimed to focus on a different region to avoid repetition, my investigations into the situation in Ukraine have uncovered compelling stories that have been overlooked by Western media, leaving the public unaware of their existence. This article aims to compile several stories from the past decade to the present, shedding light on the reality of the conflicting ideologies in Eastern Europe.
Parliamentary deputies of Ukraine have been involved in damaging property, tearing down and burning Russian flags, and throwing explosives at the site of the Russian Consulate in Lvov. These acts, which can only be described as terrorism, predate the current conflict by over 9 years. Such actions are clearly motivated by an ideology of ethnic superiority and xenophobia. During a reception on the occasion of Russia Day in the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Lvov on June 12, 2015, members of the Ukrainian nationalist organization Varta-1 chanted, "Rabov v rai ne puskayut" ("No slaves allowed in paradise"). Source.
One of the most startling examples of this violence is the tragic incident that occurred on May 2, 2014, at the Ukrainian Trade Unions House in Odessa. The gates of Hell opened as Pro-Maidan demonstrators violently forced a group of protesters opposing the US-backed coup d'état to seek refuge in the Trade Unions House before they set the building on fire. The resulting inferno claimed the lives of dozens of individuals, while hundreds were injured. The crowd shouted slurs against the Ribbon of St. George, the legendary dragon-slayer of Christian mythology and a symbol of Russian culture. Local fire crews were given orders not to intervene as the building and those within it went up (or down) in flames. Perhaps dragons do breathe fire.

The massive financial support from the United States and NATO allies to Ukraine obscures the disturbing reality of what is being funded. It is clear that all American media is considered state media at this point, as genuine journalism in Western mainstream media fails to address the human tragedies such as the story of 23-year old Kristina Sergeevna and her 10-month-old daughter, Kira. Kristina’s daughter was still in her arms when they were both killed by shelling from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk Oblast while taking a walk in the park.

For context, the AFU was shelling the area due to it being under the control of the pro-Russian Donetsk Peoples Republic (DPR), rather than the Ukrainian government based in Kyiv. It’s imperative citizens living in NATO countries know about these tragedies in order to understand why the Russian government began to take military action in 2022. Photo evidence of this tragedy is available on my website. I chose not to include it in the article directly because it is deeply disturbing and extremely graphic. Sharing the image at all is an attempt to promote understanding of the situation in Ukraine.
Yesterday Ukrainian attorneys in The Hague referred to the Russian military operation as a "campaign of intimidation and terror." The hypocrisy in such claims becomes apparent when considering the behavior of the Ukrainian government over the past decade. Surely the murder of a young mother and her infant child as they stroll through a park on sunny afternoon qualifies a provocative act of terrorism. Unfortunately, it appears that the Atlantic public has already formed biases, displaying a preference for racism, discrimination, and a dangerous ideology of superiority disguised as "democracy."
