U.S. Weapons Proliferation Relocates to Kazakhstan Amidst Destruction in Ukraine
Kazakhstan's history of exceptional research facilities make it an ideal location for Pentagon laboratories coming from a war-torn Ukraine.
As part of an economic support deal with the United States, Kazakhstan's government has consented to the relocation of 30 biological laboratories from Ukraine to its own soil. How generous of the U.S. Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) to help these labs find new homes after they had a little trouble continuing operations in Ukraine. Isn't that heartwarming?
In late 2021 when tensions over Ukraine were reaching their boiling point, the creation of a "BSL-4 laboratory and underground storage facility for a collection of dangerous and highly dangerous strains," was launched with construction set for completion by the end of 2025. At the time of its conception it was to be the seventh Pentagon facility in Kazakhstan linked to the DTRA network of military bio-laboratories.
Kazakhstan was once home to exceptional research facilities combatting pathogens such as the plague and cholera. Now that the current conflict has evolved and research centers in Ukraine have abruptly (and often in a rather messy fashion) halted operations, the Soviet-era centers and remaining expertise makes the region ideal for the move. It’s also worth noting that the Kazakh President, Kassym Tokayev, will receive political support from the United States as a result of this agreement.
What is the purpose of these labs? The official narrative states the research conducted is aimed at "increasing technological and methodological capabilities of combating particularly dangerous infections." All too often, the research conducted in these laboratories involves manipulating pathogens to assess how potential enemy states might modify them for use in biological attacks. Self-evidently ridiculous, it seems obvious the true intent is weapons proliferation. This is further supported by the refusal of the United States to cooperate with the requirements laid out in the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons (BTWC). This open refusal began under the Bush Administration in July 2001.
These programs routinely receive massive investments from the DTRA. For example under the Nunn-Lugar Program, 102 million dollars was invested in a laboratory in Almaty, Kazakhstan solely dedicated to investigating deadly pathogens that could potentially be used in bioterrorist attacks. Instead of investments into diplomatic efforts aimed at peace, we're given these ticking time bombs disguised as "defense" labs. John F. Kennedy spoke of this perhaps better than any American president in a speech at American University in Washington D.C, 1963.
“Today the expenditure of billions of dollars every year on weapons acquired for the purpose of making sure we never need to use them is essential to keeping the peace. But surely the acquisition of such idle stockpiles--which can only destroy and never create--is not the only, much less the most efficient, means of assuring peace.” - John F. Kennedy, 1963
To state the obvious, playing with viruses does nothing to ensure peace or promote human health. Instead of cures or medications, research in military facilities dives into exploring endless potential forms, practically turbocharging their danger levels.

The US intentionally poking the bear with another series of BSL-4 bioweapons labs on the Russian border. We have criminals running our country.
