American Journalist Gonzalo Lira has Died in Ukrainian Imprisonment
The US State Department, the US Embassy in Ukraine, the Zelensky Regime, and the Biden Administration kill yet another journalist. Can you smell the democracy?
On August 4th of last year, I published an article concerning Chilean-American journalist Gonzalo Lira’s capture, imprisonment, and mistreatment at the hands of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). He is now dead. It took less than one year for the US State Department’s henchmen in Kiev to slowly and painfully end his life by way of maltreatment and neglect. Having prior knowledge of the SBU’s cruelty does little to warm the chill at the thought of the speed with which Gonzalo perished.
Gonzalo Lira's Battle for Truth has Lead to His Imprisonment
"No man is an island entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main; if a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as any manner of thy friends or of thine own were; any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind. And therefore never send to know for…
I intend to keep this article short, as most of the relevant details are appropriately laid out in my previous article. That said, it’s necessary to note that his death was possibly a result of untreated medical complications which he’d been experiencing for months. Despite pleading for medical care, the SBU by and large denied him this right, all the while torturing him in order to extort him, draining his financial resources and bodily strength.
Gonzalo was eccentric, and certainly controversial in his views and his personality. But the guy was a top-tier journalist. His understanding of the US State Department and Kiev regime was truly comprehensive and detailed. He knew what he was talking about, and unfortunately, so did the SBU. The US Embassy and State Department owed it to Gonzalo to do everything possible to save his life; he was a US citizen, after all. They did nothing. They absolutely knew what was happening and intentionally - politically - refused to act. Another notch in the bloodshed belt of American imperialism.
Keep Gonzalo’s family in your prayers, as his wife, father, and two children are now left without him.
